Fury 100 Recap
Main Event: Welterweight Title – Sam Kilmer vs. Shimon Smotritsky
Sam Kilmer showcased his elite grappling to claim the Fury FC Welterweight Championship. Early in the first round, Kilmer secured a takedown, forcing Smotritsky into a defensive grappling exchange. Kilmer methodically worked his way to a dominant position, eventually backpacking his opponent and sinking in a rear-naked choke for the victory.
In his post-fight interview, Kilmer stated:
“We prepared for war the full fight camp. When I got in here and saw how he was moving, I said [to myself], ‘Go take him,’ and I did that.”
The newly crowned champion expressed his desire to defend his title against Isaac Moreno in his first defense.
Co-Main Event: Featherweight Title – Cameron Graves vs. Justice Torres
Cameron Graves reclaimed the Fury FC Featherweight Championship with a clinical unanimous decision victory over Justice Torres. Across five rounds, Graves delivered a workmanlike performance, controlling the center of the cage and dictating the terms of the fight. His superior striking shone throughout, while his grappling defense and positional reversals neutralized Torres’ occasional success in the clinch.
In his post-fight interview, Graves reflected on his journey back to the top:
“I was the champ. I lost the title. I was on a three-fight losing streak. I really looked at myself and made some [different] life decisions. I had some hard days. But now I’m back as the champion.”
Now riding a four-fight win streak, Graves issued a call to UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard, who was in attendance, advocating for his shot at the next level.
Flyweight Title – Alden Coria vs. Paris Moran
In a high-paced, action-packed bout, Alden Coria delivered a stunning upset to capture the Fury FC Flyweight Championship. Early in the fight, Moran found his rhythm, winning the striking exchanges and pressuring Coria. But with 1:57 remaining in the first round, Coria connected with a devastating right hook that dropped Moran. Sensing the finish, Coria unleashed a relentless barrage of ground-and-pound, forcing the referee to step in and call the fight.
A visibly emotional Coria credited UFC Flyweight and teammate Joshua Van for his role in the victory. After the fight, Coria made a case for joining the UFC Flyweight division, solidifying his status as a rising star with another electrifying finish.
